Would You Use a Product Designed for a Cow?
When I picked up my race packet for the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon a few weeks ago, I found a couple of samples of Udderly SMooth Udder Cream in bottom of the bag. I hadn’t heard of Udderly SMooth before, but I was aware that some people use products, like Bag Balm, which were originally created for animal use to treat dry skin.
Like its name, Udderly SMooth has a smooth consistency. It’s not thick or sticky, which makes it a good product to use to prevent chafing during long runs or marathons. I used Udderly SMooth, in addition to Body Glide, during the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon and it worked well. The only area that got chafed was around the waistband of my shorts, where I forgot to apply anything.
Have you used Udderly SMooth or a similar product to prevent chafing? Tell me about it in the comments.
